We are acutely aware and sensitive to the anxiety that the dental office and dental care creates in many people. Our office was designed with exactly this in mind and the result is a dental office that is calm, soothing, warm, and tranquil. Indeed, our office is specially equipped with a waiting room that is sound deadened and more like your living room than a waiting room. We also have specially equipped our dental clinical area with ultra quiet KAVO electric handpieces that are 90% quieter than traditional air driven handpieces.

At Georgetown Advanced Dentistry, we are qualified to handle all aspects of your care, so you are always surrounded by personnel that are fully trained and deserving of your full trust and confidence. If we must refer out, we promise to send you to carefully selected colleagues who apply the same professional principles in their office that we do in ours.

We are particularly sensitive to the fear and anxiety that accompanies visits to the dentist. The office, staff, hygienists and doctors have been carefully selected and trained to maximize a sense of comfort, safety and tranquility. We respect and understand that many patients experience dental anxiety. At our office, we do everything we can to make sure that your experience is as relaxing as possible. By communicating clearly what you can expect during your treatment, we are often able to alleviate dental fear. We encourage you to bring headphones and music to listen to during your treatment and ask us about dental sedation options.

We are in-network with a variety of insurance plans, and we offer various forms of financing with credit available in time frames that fit your needs. Our Team

Sinclair R. Davis

Dr. Davis was born in Richmond, VA to an American father, a Pathologist, and an Argentine mother, a Child Neurologist, and tagged along when they moved with his two older brothers to Bethesda, MD at 3 years old. He graduated Walt Whitman High School before attending Washington College in Chestertown, MD, where he graduated with Honors in three and a half years, majoring in Psychology and Philosophy. He then taught extemporaneous writing and remedial math at Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, MD. for 1 year before attending the University of Marlyand School of Dentistry during which he completed multiple extended externships in oral surgery at the Washington Hospital Center in 1989 and 1990 and graduated in 1991. He then completed an Oral Surgery Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and began his private practice in. 1993, in the Washington D.C. area with special focus on Oral Surgery, Endodontics, and Aesthetics, his three passions in dentistry.

Dr. Davis and his wife, an Economist from Peru, immensely enjoy raising their 10-year-old son. Dr. Davis loves wide variety of music, especially Classical, Latin American, Folk, Blues and Bluegrass. An avid reader, he is keenly interested in languages and linguistics, science, politics, and philosophy. He also enjoys sports (especially basketball, a sport in which he excelled in his youth) and vintage automobiles.
